Michael Fishbach, whale researcher, is with his family on a boat. As their boat is cruising through the water, As they glided through they see a humpback whale. It had no signs of life. I wonder if it is alright. Another man on the boat had a small knife and they started cutting the net. They pulled the net up to the boat to cut it. His/her pectoral fins were pinned down by the net so was the fluke. It was hours of exhausting work.

Finally it got free it was doing amazing displays, Tail slaps, pectoral fin slaps, 40 amazing breaches and slaps.

It must have been amazing to see.

  1. Wow Jacob,

I like that movie about Saving Valentina.I also liked how you had some interesting words in there.Would you be so proud to save a whale in a little amount of time???And wouldn't you say "Cruising through the water..... and not just cruising through the water???

    Anyway keep it up,Wyatt

  2. Hi Jacob,

My name is Owen Gill and I am a student at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. I am taking a class called EDM310 and I received a link to your class blog. You give some really great information about the humpback whale and I am glad that it was able to survive being caught up in a net. It is a shame that so many creatures suffer from the creations and laziness of mankind! Keep up the good work and I will keep an eye on your progress.
